Jason Voorhees Canonical Age

1946: Jason is born (June 13th, 1946)
1957: Jason is 11 years old
1979: Jason would be 33 years old (Part 1)
1984: Jason would be 38 years old (Part 2)

Note: Part 2-4 takes place in the same week (or even weeks?) so it's kinda useless to even list those here and if his birthday WAS during this time he would have been 39 years old but no month was ever given that I remember.

But Part 5 is heavily set "5" years after Part 4 which means in 1989 Jason is 43 years of age during these events.

Note: Tom Mcloughlin himself had stated Part 6 takes place in 1986!  But ofcourse, this could be respectfully be categorized as a pure continuity error but he is the director which would conflict with it so much for this discussion! As Tommy was said to be 18 years old in his original script.

Sources have claimed Tommy in Part 5 (A New Beginning) was 17 years old and not 19 yrs old or 18 year old!

BUT if we count that Tommy was about 12 years old at the time of Part 4 in 1984 then this means in 1986 for Jason lives then Tommy is 14 years old which is still wrong! in New Jersey you have to be 16 and older to even drive!

1984= 12 yr old Tommy Jarvis
1985= 13 yr old Tommy Jarvis
1986= 14 yr old Tommy Jarvis

Let's keep this going with more evidence and math! Follow down for more information!

In 1984, Tommy Jarvis would be 12 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 38 years old at this time)

In 1985, Tommy Jarvis would be 13 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 39 years old)

In 1986, Tommy Jarvis would be 14 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 40 years old)

In 1987, Tommy Jarvis would be 15 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 41 years old)

In 1988, Tommy Jarvis would be 16 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 42 years old)

In 1989, Tommy Jarvis would be 17 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 43 years old)

In 1990, Tommy Jarvis would be 18 years old (Jason Voorhees would be 44 years old)

So if we go by the list above for 1990 then Jason would be about 44 years old vs the 1986 situation where Jason would be 40 year old.

Now for Friday the 13th the New Blood...John Carl Buechler official script indicates that Part 7 takes place a staggering 12 years after "Jason Lives"

1990+7=1997 (yes that's correct! Tina would be about Twelve years old at this time!)

Now then with some quick addition math you add a year til 2002!

1998+4=2002 (Total 12 year difference!)

Now let me explain further for those confused!

1998 is the FLASHBACK OPENING!
2002 is the CURRENT TIMELINE!

1990=Jason Voorhees is 44 years old (Jason Lives)
1991=Jason Voorhees is 45 years old
1992=Jason Voorhees is 46 years old
1993=Jason Voorhees is 47 years old
1994=Jason Voorhees is 48 years old
1995=Jason Voorhees is 49 years old
1996=Jason Voorhees is 50 years old
1997=Jason Voorhees is 51 years old (P7 Flashback)
1998=Jason Voorhees is 52 years old
1999=Jason Voorhees is 53 Years old
2000=Jason Voorhees is 54 years old
2001=Jason Voorhees is 55 years old
2002=Jason Voorhees is 56 years old (The New Blood)

Jason Voorhees would be 56 years of Age around this timeline if given correctly from the official script and the mathematics!

Part 8 aka Jason Takes Manhattan it has no legit timeline confirmation for me and others to state here! but people (mostly us fan analyzers) will state it wouldnt be a year difference so Jason would be 56 still as of Jason Takes Manhattan.

Note: Tim Burton's Batman is in the background the same year Part 7 was released but this doesn't mean Part 7/8 exists in 1989 whatsoever could be seen as a massive coincidence or even a in-universe re-release.

As for Jason Goes to Hell aka Part 9 we can official state due to the confirmation is in 2002 as well.

Note: Adam Marcus the director of Jason goes to Hell himself said the company told him to Ignore Part 8 and continue from Part 7, this major statement still places no error for Part 7, Part 8, and JGTH meaning Jason would have been going into 58 years old at this time.

As for ofc Freddy Vs Jason being set in mid-2003 Jason would be 57 years old .

Now we are in-between FvJ and Jason X it should be noted as I mentioned multiple times on my forum itself that Freddy Vs Jason is a Prequel to Jason X where Jason is captured in the year 2010 (if I remember correctly it was stated in the film!) meaning Jason would be 64 years old and with the whole frozen in time concept Jason would have been 509 years old.

As for John Carl Buechler, only a few people have asked him this Question and from multiple testimonies, he puts that it's been 10 years after Jason Lives (aka F13 Part 6) BUT from the official script, it says it's been 7-12 years! The New Blood Timeline Info

Sources for Part 5? This is from many regarding Tommy as 18/19 years old, but given that he was still in a mental institution it makes sense he wasnt and was 17 years old as the rest were regarded as "Teenagers" 

(Update in 2023: Tommy Age is confirmed due to Part VI Script officially solved  must click and read!!!)

Part 8? Sorry there's no source material but given from my research and findings Part 8 is same year as Part 7 itself and with Adam saying that he ignored Part 8 means that this timeline placement is just the same as Adam himself said Part VII takes place in 2002 just as The New Blood does.
