Jason's Autopsy

Jason was Alive?

As anyone who watched the F13 film franchise we would all know that Jason DID NOT infact died with his hands clutched to his chest but he had "died" face first on the ground with his hands to his sides when Tommy was going berserk with the machete to his back and yet in Jason Lives, we've seen that Jason's hands aren't to his side but curled up to his own chest.

So...was Jason Voorhees self-regenerating (self-healing) and resurrecting in his own coffin?? And what's to explain this question? Well It's explained in the Part VI Novelization by Simon Hawkes that Jason was kept alive for 21 years and was biologically aging due to his supernatural regenerative powers keeping him from experiencing true death so why did he decay? It's likely due to the rodents helping the bugs/maggots keeping him from fully regenerating his lost tissue and his healing powers just deactivated due to the consistent animals feeding on him and thats when Jason truly died because his body didn't want to continue healing?

How do we know there was animals/insects?

Well...Part VI entire casket opening we clearly see massive amounts of Maggots, and we see small ribcages near his body, so it's logical here for this explanation.

Why did his healing factor cease keeping him alive?

I can say its from multiple factors as His body likely couldn't handle all the forces coming at him at once from lack of oxygen, the being eaten alive, starvation, and more.

And all he needed at this point was two guys digging him up and a stroke of lighting through a metal fence post.......

That definitely helped made his power more potent since its kicking into overdrive to restore him completely.
