possible research presentation

There's a chance I'll be able to present a paper at a technical conference for my job. My topic will be using chlorine dioxide to disinfect water.

I'll need to submit an abstract soon.

I've hit a snag with this. My topic was rejected based on a "mistake" the higher ups claim I made. Essentially, what I mean by that is that I caught them in a lie.

I'm really steamed. This was uncalled for, and it's not the first time I've caught a lie. Even worse, I'm due to interview for my last supervisor's open position in the next couple weeks. If I don't get promoted, I'm going to ask some VERY difficult questions. I won't do anything to get fired, but I WILL rock the boat a little.
