King Kong Empty King Kong

There have been numerous movies on this guy. What was your favorite- the original, 1976 or the 2005 movie? I never liked any of them in particular. What I found interesting was the idea of this island almost no one knew about with these giant animals and a vague map showing where the island was. How would you find it? Imagine satellite pictures of it.

What was your favorite version?

While I respect the original for how revolutionary that film was at the time, I've never been a big fan of the Kong films in general. I can barely remember the Jackson version except that I only made it halfway through before giving up. It just wasn't for me.

My favorite film involving Kong was actually the recent Godzilla vs. Kong remake which was a lot of fun, but I'll admit that I probably would've skipped it if Godzilla hadn't been involved.

Honestly the Peter Jackson King Kong will always be my favorite the 2nd favorite King Kong would be the current version.

And before people come at me...the Older King Kong aka Classic/Original was horrid lol!

The first one I ever saw was the 1974 version with Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange. In later years you could tell the special effects but I still liked it.

I actually agree with you on the original.

The Peter Jackson 2005 movie is my ultimate favorite. I don't care that much about the rest.

Oh man looking back...Peter Jackson's King Kong design/movie would be my equal to the current version/vision of King Kong and I will say I wish they did another game based on Peter Jackson's King Kong movie!
