Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan 34th Anniversary

July 28th 1989 is the release Anniversary for Paramount Pictures Final Friday release that being Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan until changing the rights to New Line Cinema!

This would be Kane Hodders 2nd Appearance as Jason Voorhees and gives is a memorable kill in the form of Julius Vs Jason ontop of a Rooftop

Its always a 50/50 for me for this movie haha.

It’s definitely not in my top 5 but I love the look of Jason in this movie, it has some great effects along with some not too good story telling….. either way definitely memorable the hype for this movie was incredible for me I was living in NY at the time so knowing Jason was getting out of the camp grounds and coming to the City was extra cool!

First time I heard of Jason Takes Manhattan I was so hyped LOL

After watching the series out of order seeing part VIII I was like "Where's NYC?"

The majority of boat scenes was disappointing but the scenes they did shot in the city was amazing!
