The Boogeyman
This upcoming movie is an adaptation of a Stephen King short story. I'm waiting for this one myself.
Do you like movies from Stephen King books? Sometimes his books don't work well on the screen.

Re: The Boogeyman
My wife and I saw a poster for this film when we went to see Evil Dead Rise, and my wife's exact words were 'Why are they remaking The Boogeyman', lol. Then we saw it was based on a Stephen King story and a completely differen't thing.
I'm always willing to give a Stephen King adaptation a try, even though I find the movies based on his works hit or miss. His short stories seem to have a better trackrecord of producing good film adaptations opposed to his longer form stories... You'd think it would be the other way around, but I guess stretching a short story into a feature film is easier than trying to cram in everything from a 1000 page epic that focuses heavily on the phycology of it's characters, into a two hour movie.
The Shining might be the perfect example a great book that's contents didn't necessarily translate well to the screen, so Kubrick had to tweak quite a bit to make that film the classic it is today.

Re: The Boogeyman
I saw this today. It was a little dull and had mainly jump scares.
Of course, what stuck out were the kids in the theater videotaping the movie with their cell phones.

No surprise on the bootlegging.
I'm a long time Stephen King fan, so I'll give this one a shot.
