The next Freddy Kreuger

Do you see Kevin Bacon as the next Freddy?

I could see Bacon as Freddy…. But I think he would come off a little to similar to Robert’s…. In a way I would love for them to go a little differently and get a bit of a younger actor who has some great acting chops in horror already to build an entirely new and long lasting several films around…… like Evan Peters from AHS and Dahmer

But would fans accept a new actor as Freddy? Would a good script work? Remember how badly the 2010 movie did?

I think fan would accept it depending on how the do it… a well written script will definitely go a long way…… how The new actor portrays Freddy will also be a huge factor….. unfortunately we all know Roberta’s our Freddy and anyone who try’s to step into those shoes will struggle but a think a new take on the franchise with a Horror fan favorite would go a long way.
