Jason's mother to blame?

Jason was a special needs child, and by his mother's admission, wasn't a very good swimmer. Is she the one to blame for sending him to camp and allegedly drowning, or is it all on the teenage camp counselors?

By all accounts, definitely the counselors. Assuming Jason was a special needs child, and that really wasn't clear until Freddy Vs. Jason, Pamela would have wanted him to have the same experiences as any other kid. The counselors were probably teaching him to swim, and he figured he could do it on his own as most kids his age would do. Even if he was a regular kid, the danger of drowning is still real and he should have been watched, unless he snuck out at night and it was a genuine tragic accident and not negligence. In that case, his deformity occurred during his time at the bottom of the lake and not because he was naturally deformed. But yes, it was definitely the counselors fault

Definitely the counselors…… she was working….when you leave your kids at Daycare/ camp/ school/ anywhere there are expectations that your child will return to you in the manner you dropped them off in this case regardless of Jason’s handicap or not he was under the care of people put in charge and responsible for children….
What happened to Jason is the counselors fault to the degree of Murdering them……No… but responsible for neglect absolutely.

Single mother working as a chief head cook, and having to watch her own kid? Nah...the Christy family made sure she was well cared for and that trust was betrayed.

The counselors regardless if Jason was deformed or special needs should have been supervising him at all times especially around the other children! As Momma Pamela said..."They were having filthy sex! As a young boy drowned!" Thats 100% the fault of the Counselors!
