MASH TV series

Did you ever see the MASH TV series? Were you an occasional watcher, or did you see the whole series, including the Farewell episode?
I loved the farewell episode, even the final scene with BJ and Hawkeye, and the idea of not actually saying goodbye in the forever sense of saying goodbye. I enjoyed the sense of genuine caring the characters actually had for each other, knowing they were all stuck together in the same circumstances. It seems the ideas of friendship, brotherhood and humanity can overcome even the ugliness of war. Even though each member of the camp was placed in a war zone, people can still find a way to come together and have a strong sense of brotherhood.
What do YOU think of the TV series?

M.AS.H. is a hell of a show. I watched it with my grandfather.
