I'm not a big fan of Vampire stuff in general, but I love this film. It has such an 80's horror movie feel and I love that about it. I remember watching it a couple of years ago and wondering where the hell else I remembered seeing the actor who played Jerry Dandrige (The Vampire) before, only to find out he was in Child's Play, Prince Freakin' Humperdinck, and even voiced Jack Skellington in a Nightmare Before Christmas! Pretty impressive resume for a guy who was never exactly an A-list celerity.

Fright Night was an excellent movie with an impressive cast including Roddy McDowell and Chris Sarandon, both talented actors. I ws glad to see Sarandon in a cameo in the remake. Definitely one of the better vampire movies alongside Lost Boys and Bram Stoker's Dracula, plus John Carpenter 's Vampires
