I just watched this last night!
Pretty good remake over all, I feel like the Original showcases Charlie’s powers better however.
I was expecting a little more from today’s technology and filmmaking I also wouldn’t be able to forgive Rainbird for killing my mother and being the cause of my Fathers capture that guy would have burned for sure.
Over all I enjoyed it and it made me want to watch The original right after.

He isn’t terrible by any means. He does a pretty good Job playing Charlie’s Dad.
