Paul might have opened camp right on Crystal Lake since he didn't really believe all the Jason stories.

Then story over. No series afterwards. If Pamela had killed Alice, Pamela wouldn't have died and Jason wouldn't be back for revenge.

This also would have caused a population boom because all them kids have unprotected sex in the woods would have conceived.

Oh man, I agree! I could imagine Pamela, now older and now seeking Jason out on counselors, and of course Jason not having any issue listening and following her every whim! it would be a family killing for real!
