Nah that doesn't sound dumb and yes! It's up and running we just got a reveal for a game called Multiversus and then we are waiting for Jason to enter Fornite, Call of duty, and two new games.

Not trying to be overly bitchy here, but this seems to be a project similar to the "highly anticipated" Halloween Portal. I read their forum yesterday and people are wondering what is the HP all supposed to be about. Absolute lack of new articles (last ones being from September), amateur look of the website and a useless campaign of "we're going to bring you something you've been dying for".

Sometimes less is better, if you ask me. Even without these new projects, fans will always find a way how to watch and preserve their favorite movies and buy memorabilia. But these projects, any rationally thinking person will just end up shaking their heads.

Now I'm bitchy.

Nah you aren't being bitchy, unlike the Halloween Portal thing, I don't what's been going on with them but Jason Universe is basically a secondary form of income, I think I explained it in another post but just incase they make a new Friday the 13th they can have a financial fallback instead of a "It flopped and we lost money." So it's a 3-4 year plan for more income for themselves as the right holder, it sounds "greedy" but with how movies be flopping it can ruin studios so I completely understand why they want to make sure they got back-up funds just incase.

I don't want to sound rude either, but I can't find out how to get into this whole thing.

Basically they making new content not movies but likely TV, Gaming cameos/skins, new comics, and etc.

It's to make continuous money off the IP and make it so they don't lose income just incase a new Friday the 13th Movie flops at the box office.

I am still pretty bitter about the lawsuit and friday the 13th game now officially over. Victor and Sean have done nothing but damage this franchise and shit all over the fans. Jason Universe was announced in May and still NOTHING.

I understand your frustration, we gotta remind ourselves atleast they are trying, having Jason as a playable I'm a platform game (Multiversus) is just the start, we going to see Jason in Call of Duty and Fortnite as well, it's just a matter of time.
