Was anything said on what had happened to them?

I assume Uncle Charles raised her

Turns out she says in the movie, they dies in a car wreck

I somehow missed that

It’s weird but I always felt like her uncle Charles had something to do with it. Did anyone else feel like maybe he was hiding something like that from her? In this movie, with the content they cut out or else just decided not to use, it wouldn’t have surprised me if he had something to do with it.

Yeah she mentioned they died in a Car Accident.

Yeah it was weird. When it was revealed he pushed her into the lake and then she said what happened to her parents, it seemed like he was kind of sketchy to me.
