They should have turned it into a tourist attraction like they did with the Myers house

Yeah I always thought it was just demolished. They were gonna do that to 1428 Elm Street as well in The Dream Child but it got removed from the final movie so I just thought they’d do the same to the Voorhees house.
I have this vision of it being demolished and the mailbox is left. Then Jason walks over and destroys the mailbox and salutes the fans since the name was spelled wrong and we all noticed. I’m still in shock the name was misspelled on the mailbox. How did that get through?!?

Lol for sure!!
Same here I figure once the FBI gets involved in hunting down an undead serial killer his house is toast…..torn down and demolished especially since more killings happened after Jason was supposedly killed and bodies were found in his old house.

It seems in Freddy Vs Jason they have it still up and is just not doing anything to or for it.
So we can discuss either it is used as a piece of history and is off-limits or a tourist attraction of a supernatural serial killer.

I could see that. For some reason, I always felt like maybe the house was cursed and everytime they tried to tear it down, maybe that’s when Jason showed up and started his killing spree again. So they said eh we’re not gonna go near it and just said it was a historical landmark like was said above.

Im still trying to figure out the entire lore for and behind the Voorhees House because...we know in Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday they mentioned "Elias" but...we dont know the true relationship.
In the Original Idea/Goal was that Jason's REAL father wasnt named Elias (I've talked to Tom Mcloughlin, and he states Elias isnt his name.) So who owned the house? "Elias" or Pamela?

I am hoping that when /If the new Documentary Dark Hearts of Jason Voorhees is finally finished we will get some more info on the whole tying in of the Necronomicon at the house and his Father/ mother’s ties to it.
I am curious as to where they thought they could go with that story after Jason goes to Hell other than the obvious set up of Freddy Vs Jason.

Re: What happens to the Voorhees house after Jason goes to hell
I think Pamela owned the house. They showed the Necronomicon and there is always that theory she used it to bring Jason back to heal him. I don’t think he’s a Deadite but I do think Pamela knew how to use the book in the right way to heal him or endow him with regenerative powers and abilities. They even said in Jason X that they couldn’t kill him because he could regenerate and heal so well. So I think Pamela used the Necronomicon to help Jason heal and then give him the ability to survive and recover each time.
It’s like Doomsday in the Superman comics and on Smallville. He can’t be killed the same way twice. I think that’s what happens with Jason. Even when he was stuck in the lake at the end of Part VI, you saw the close up of his eye and it was showing he was still alive. Most you can do is trap him but even then he still gets out. So she owned the house and had the knowledge of how to make it so Jason can never die.
Freddy even said it disguised as Pamela. Jason can never die, he just sleeps so it’s like he’s in a holding pattern, just biding his time and he even comes back from those mortal wounds at the end of Freddy Vs Jason. Pamela found the right passage and maybe it was from other literature and other people as well. He can’t die.

Re: What happens to the Voorhees house after Jason goes to hell
Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash comic series was beyond out there like so many problems...like how did Freddy know about the book? because we know in Freddy's Dead the dream demons weren't connected to no book but were pre-existing figures.
