Friday the 13th: A New Beginning Vs Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
Which would you rather watch?
Which is better to watch?
This poll will serve as a Vs. Movies franchise poll between the Friday the 13th movies Vs. Halloween films, BUT we are only doing it to the numbers that are equal Meaning Hallowee: Ends will not be added! And I added enough options to people arent forced and there are rules for this poll!
There is no Multiple Choice!
There is no Vote Cancellation
All votes are final!!

Re: Friday the 13th: A New Beginning Vs Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
I prefer Halloween 5, but I wish the ending was different with The Man in Black showing up. That's when we seemed to start getting the whole Curse of Thorn garbage.
F13 part 5 was a little too trashy for my taste, and it would have been better as a standalone movie or part of a different franchise. I wish they could have taken the whole Tommy Jarvis angle in a different direction, but I'm stuck with what we got, so I'll deal with it.

Someone will hate me but I picked neither.
Part V was just eh...
Halloween 5? I love Danielle Harris BUT it humanized Michael to much!
Re: Friday the 13th: A New Beginning Vs Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
New Beginning. It was the first Friday film I ever saw, so I'll always have an affection for it. I was too young and new to horror to understand that Roy wasn't Jason, and I didn't care at the time, lol.
Halloween five is a bit of a mess that failed to capitalize on what Halloween 4 Did Well. They never should've shown the Myer's house... I get they filmed in Utah to cut down on costs, but don't bother showing the Myer's House if you can't build a set that at least looks like the original house....

F13 Part 5...I can't ever get into it lol I know most are NOW claiming it's a good film because it's "black sheeped" but personally just wasn't for me, ofc the Cast were amazing! I won't deny that but Copycat storyline was far to early.
Hey, for H5 you can use headcanon which could be that a family moved in and didn't like the idea of living in a murderers house and moved quickly and left their stuff?

Michael should not need help getting out of jail. In my opinion, nothing humanized him more than the RZ films.

For ME, the issue with your part 5 headcanon is it sounds too much like Amityville.

I was amused by the part where Loomis tried to turn the lights on in the house despite the power being of for years. Or was that part 4?

Amityville is a good story, it's just people exploited it for cheap money grabs for no reason.

Some people don't care where they get their money.

Yeah, it's all about what community will pay the most
In my opinion The Revenge of Michae Myers ISN'T based on love, the way they wrote out Laurie Strode prior...and the way they handled Michael and the mask?? Yeah...I can't support it.
The actors were all the right people just the storyline wasn't!

A big criticism of H5 is that it was rushed out the door with NO thought going into it AT ALL.

I'll give credit to Part V for bringing back Jason and only that.

Oh no I mean for Jason Lives lol! Without it being treated badly, we wouldn't have had Jason back as a Zombie by Tom Mcloughlin!
