21 years ago today Jason vs Freddy was released

A massive box office success but for the hardcore fans a let down.
I remember the hype behind this movie. It was amazing. I remember being at a July 4th party and a commercial came on for the movie and everyone stopped talking and was all about who would win. It was pretty cool! Especially since these weren't horror fans
Then I saw the movie
ugh
It's a fun late night flick but man, so many issues, so many errors. Very frustrating on what we ended up with
Also 21 years? Damn..It was 23 years between pt 1 and this movie. Unbelivable

This movie really was a letdown. It seemed to be more about Jason than the two of them together. But that's juts my impression an I barely remember the movie now.

I liked the cornfield scene, Lochlyn Munro's death and the final fight was pretty watchable too. Oh, and the scene with the nude chick jumping into the lake. Hope it's OK to mention something like this on the forum.

I LOVED the final fight. I wish thee was more action between the two.
